Sr. Helen Prejean is coming

Coming to Dayton on Wednesday, Oct. 25 is Sr. Helen Prejean, Catholic activist who works in prison ministry, and central figure in the movie Dead Man Walking. Sr. Prejean has also written The Death of Innocents, which discusses the treatment of the imprisoned poor. In preparation of her visit, the St. Helen Book Club invites you to join them in the Big Catholic Read and discussion of that book. Discounted copies may be prepaid and ordered through Immaculate Conception ($11.20, payable to Immaculate Conception) no later than Aug. 27.
